This success stems from incentives like VAT exemptions, free tolls, and parking for EV owners, alongside high taxes on fossil fuel vehicles. The Norwegian Electric Vehicle Association, led by Christina Bu, has been pivotal in advocating for these policies, resulting in EVs outnumbering gasoline-powered cars on Norwegian roads. Chinese manufacturers, such as MG, BYD, and Xpeng, have also gained an 11% market share in Norway, reflecting a significant shift in the European automotive industry.
