Winterhalter Ltd

Winterhalter were introduced to Go Zero after they had integrated electric vehicles (EVs) into their business operations and were not happy with their existing home charging situation.

• Winterhalter’s EV drivers were dissatisfied with the chargers they were using and with the process for reimbursing them for electricity usage. Individual and business confusion related to complicated billing.

• These issues with home charging negatively impacted the business, resulting in a loss of productivity and higher than necessary roadside charging costs.

• Additionally, there was confusion, both individually and for the business, with the complicated billing processes.

The Solution

Go Zero contacted Winterhalter with a proposal to support thier employees with sustainable travel through a managed portal system. Winterhalter moved over to an electric fleet of vehicles and in partnership with Go ZGo Zero’s strategic plan addressed these issues through:

• A thorough needs assessment.

• Pilot testing, and installation of home charging stations.

• Simplified home billing and disbursement.

• Advanced monitoring software and MI.

Based on the successful implementation, Winterhalter now plans to continue growing  its EV fleet and charging infrastructure, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and innovation.ero, Winterhalter fleet drivers and employees with a company car can now have a Go Zero charger installed at their homes. This is a service offered to employees with the aim of supporting the switch to EV.
